We recently spoke with writer Kate Bernot for Good Beer Hunting who has been actively following and reporting on the #MeToo movement in beer, Brave Noise and similar causes advocating for change. The article is spotlighting the latest collab One in Four, a cause-based collaboration beer initiative launched by Milwaukee’s Third Space Brewing that references the statistic that one in four women in the U.S. (and one in seven men) experiences domestic violence. Titled ‘You Know Me’ — Beer Project Raises Voices, Stories of Those Lost to Domestic Violence digs into the importance of these collabs and how it differentiates in terms of participation of other collabs like Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s Resilience or Weathered Souls Brewing Co.’s Black Is Beautiful. We spoke with Kate about Brave Noise and the response so far. We are grateful to be part of this important conversation.
